Just my worthless two cents on some stuff I've read/watched recently.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Words cannot describe how much I love this. It's a rare example of Doing It Right with zombies. A wonderful quote from it is "It is a truth universally acknowleged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains."

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Appalling. I liked the last one. This didn't hold a candle to it, being unfunny, overly long, and just fucking stupid. It was bad, but not bad enough to be good - the worst kind of bad. I walked out of the cinema after it got too much to bear.

The Maximum Ride series

I knew what I was in for when I bought a book with a main character called Maximum Ride, but it still took my breath away with its cheesy, repeditive, predictable EVERYTHING. I spent most of the series praying that the villians would painfully murder the main characters. Not because I liked the villians, but because the mains were so goddamn BADASS and IN YO FACE.

Star Trek

I liked it very much, just like everyone else. Spock makes a bowl-cut look hot. Captain Kirk is annoying, but the rest of the characters get plenty of attention. Needed more Russian accents, because they're fucking awesome.

Hetalia: Axis powers

Here's a hint: If you have any, ANY tiny amount of respect for your country and its role in WWII, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES watch/read/think about this. Even if it doesn't make your soul cry to imagine France prancing around as a gay kawaii bishonen whore, the jokes are shit and the art isn't particularly impressive either.

Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged

An oldie but a goodie, even though every joke in it gets stolen and spammed round the internet by morons till you can't stand it anymore. LittleKuriboh's attitude towards people who make shitty rip-off abridged series is wonderful too.
